REVIEW:
I first heard Bruno Mars in a song called "Nothin' on You" in which he was featured in the chorus and I'm impressed by his vocals then I heard his collaboration with Travie McCoy for "Billionaire"! I'm a big fan! Now he released his debut album called "Doo-wops & Hooligans". For me he is a "Grammy" artist. Like he is a singer that will have so many Grammys based on his vocals. His album is impressive also the first track "Grenade" is a really great album opener. "Yes I would die for ya baby, but you won’t do the same.." I'm really liking this line on "Grenade"! The second track "Just The Way You Are" which is also his first single and currently on the top of the charts is one of my most favorite songs of the year! "Our first Time" and "Marry You" are really have a old school jazzy and relaxing feeling on it!"Count On Me" sounded like Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah". "Runaway Baby" is a really good song to dance with while "Lazy Song" is one of my favorite tracks but it's a rip-off of "Billionaire"! "Talking to the Moon" sounded like a onerepublic influenced track. "The Other Side (feat. Cee Lo Gree)" is really catchy while "Liquor Store Blues (feat. Damian Marley)" is a nice song to listen while you are just chillin' and doing nothing! Overall the album might only contain 10 tracks but I promise you there are not fillers in it!
MY GRADE: 4 out of 5 stars
