First, I thought that this video clip is fake because it's just a collection of Mariah Carey's old clip but I was wrong. It was posted in Mariah's official website (www.mariahcarey.com). There is nothing new with the video just various clips from her past Christmas music videos and random clips in recording studio. Mariah is totally not celebrating Halloween this year!

It's only October but I already feel the Christmas season with Mariah's new album "Merry Christmas II You". I don't have to review track by track because most of the songs are Christmas classics but what's good about it is that Mariah added her touch and incredible nice vocals to each tracks! She made Christmas classics to have an R'n'B/hip-hop feeling into it! "When Christmas Comes"  sounded like it's a track from her 2005 album "Emancipation of Mimi" but in Christmas style! "Christmas Time Is in the Air Again" sounds so relaxing and soothing! Perfect for cold Christmas season! "One Child" is another nice original Carey track and it's a christian track with angelic child choir vocals at the chorus. The new version of "All I want for Christmas is You" is a great refresh to the 1994 version because as stated on the tracklisting this version is ultra festive! What I do love in Mariah's "Auld Lang Syne"  is that it's not the same old predictable version it got a party flavor in it which is really awesome! Overall the album is really good Christmas album! It got new flavors in it and of course Mariah's vocal is in full force from reaching super high notes to her overused whistle register. This is my recommended Christmas album for 2010 (My favorite Christmas album of all time is Josh Groban's album F.Y.I.)

Well her last Christmas song "All I Want for Christmas is YOU" was a very big hit! Every December it climbed back at the itunes top 100 chart so maybe that's the reason she will release another Christmas single/album! The song is very catchy! It got like Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" influence on it! Well I hope it will be a huge hit for Mariah because her past 4 singles kinda flopped. One more thing I can't take the cheesiness of her second Christmas album title! XD
